Koru Mandolin

This mandolin features a sound hole based on a traditional New Zealand emblem of the unfurling fern frond, the Koru. The back and front of this instrument are curved and contoured and it has a smaller cone specifically constructed to fit the traditional mandolin body shape. As there are no compromises in the size and scale length in the design of these instruments, the sound is big and round, full of character, warmth and depth with the 8” cone gives plenty of cutting power without being bass heavy.
